Ok so heres my first post back as it's been quite rough for myself in the poker world ever since january. As of my return from vegas in january a lot has happened and none of it has been good. I went from having a 7K bankroll to nothing during the month of january and a little of february. I can blame this on anything i want to but in reality the truth is it was my fault. I kept playing my normal tourney schedule and higher buy-in tournies everynight even when i was on a downswing. Hell i think the last $100 i had in the account was to buy into the $100 super stack on AP for one last glimpse of hope. I will however say, despite popular belief, i had one loss in a ring game in that time span and it was of course me playing over my head at 5/10 NL where i had KK lose to AK all in pre for a 3.6K pot. Does it suck? yeah. Could i of beat that game? no doubt in my mind. But in reality none of this really matters anymore.
I took a little break from playing after this after my girlfriend, at the time, made me realize that a HUGE part of my life was poker and i wasn't prepared for the swings emotionally as it effected my life and my mood. Sure i was happy when i was winning but i also got very depressed when i lost.
Me and pimp decided to take another shot at a joint bankroll on Cake Poker but after running it up fairly quickly...everything soon fell apart and we lost it all.
So up to date i am currently running a sng stake on neverbeg.com for someone and am doing pretty well for now. The link to that is http://forum.neverbeg.com/showthread.php?t=115103 and i keep it updated with every tourney i play. It all started with $18 and turned it to where it's at today.
Also saturday while i was at work i decided to enter the 1 gold chip $2K giveaway on Cake Poker with 150 entrants and a $520 first prize. I ran quite well in the first hour. I tripled up on the 2nd hand with AQ vs. Q 10 vs. 10 3 on a Q xx flop...yeah dont ask about 10 3 lol. Quickly we were down to 30 players and i had a 40K stack with the closest person to me having 15K. Lost a few coin flips but made the final table 2nd in chips. I had to leave work for a hockey game so i posted on Donkeyfishpoker.com to have someone take over and RyllFsh said he was up for the task. I told him id give him a fair cut if he took it down. I came back from hockey to see that i had $520 in my account and he definitely was up for the task of taking it down. So after i sent him $150, which i thought was a decent cut, i was left with about $370 or so and am going to try to roll with that.
So from now on i will be updating as much as i can on how i am doing and how my days are going and what not. I just decided to get back on the blog train today so i dont have the specifics of how i did the past few days but it was up the first day about $150 and down the 2nd day about $180 or so cause of every river playing $1/$2 PLO. Anyways today i started off playing some $5/$10 limit on cake and people were paying me off with the nuts EVERY hand and after an hour of play i ended up +$450 or so with the account ending up resting at $757.94. So all in all it was a pretty good day so far. I will be playing mostly limit games with some PLO on cake but it will be strictly cash and MAYBE some of their guaranteed tournies, every other tourney sucks ass on that site.
So anyways sorry for the long post but it's been a while and i had a lot to say. Anything else you can find me on donkeyfishpoker.com or hit me up on AIM or shoot an email to msudu19@teamdonkament.com
Regards,
