Well monday i was at work and decided to play some 500 fpp sattelites to the sunday million. Donked outta the first one with a set vs. flush draw. 2nd one i ran pretty well in and played damn near close to perfect especially around bubble time. So i ended up unregistering for the mil and taking the $215 in tourney dollars instead and try to build up a bankroll on stars again. I had a plan to play the $109 3K starting chips that night and if i didnt cash then i was done and was sticking to $4.40 180 mans.
So Monday night tourney started off pretty well and i had a top 5 stack for most of the first 2 hours after doubling up the 3rd hand with AA vs. KQ on Q high flop. Ran really really well except for one mistep i took right after the bubble burst. Q 10 in SB with 2 limpers. Flop came Q high and i check raised the button all in and he slow played his aces to a winner. I was stuck with 6K with blinds at 2K/4K and not looking so hot. I doubled up once then again and then once again and all of a sudden i was looking pretty damn well to final table this thing. First place was ~$9K or so and i told jason i was flying to vegas the next day if i won it. Well final table hit and i was pretty much card dead picking up the blinds whenever i could. I waited for my spot until i got jacks in the BB after an UTG raise. I had no choice but to stick it in and hope it held. Well i was up against 88 for a 3rd place stack if it holds...but flop comes out 8 high and im sent to the rail with a $1288 7th place finish. I was not very happy with the result of that hand as i felt that the rest of the players were VERY VERY weak and just overly aggressive at all times which could of been easily exploited with a decent stack in front of me. But nothing ya can do.
Last night i decided to run the $20r & the $30 freezeout. The $20r ran VERY well for the first hour and i was sitting with 18K or so at first break. Well next 2 hours ran absolutely TERRIBLE for me card wise and i couldnt pick up a hand even remotely close to playing for hte life of me. Slightly into the 3rd hour i was gettin pretty short and in shove/fold mode but i still had a bit of fold equity in my stack to a normal raise. Well i pick up 99 after a 2nd position minraise (this guy was absolutely terrible and very very weak misplaying about every hand but he had a decent stack.). So i figured he was raising garbage suited cards like usual and shove. He insta calls with J8 of clubs for 30% of his stack. Now this is just a call i cant even begin to describe what he was thinking in his mind when calling this. Anyways he flops a flooosh with J8 and im sent to the rail 20 players from the bubble.
The $30 started out the exact same way where i tripled up the second hand of the tourney and ran it up to top 10 very quickly and stayed there for most of the tourney. I did misplay AK really badly late in the tourney and gave away about 50% of my stack. I worked back up to avg. stack again and then pot committed myself preflop with AK and ran into aces to get knocked out in 66th again 20 or so away from the bubble.
This morning i ran terrible in the $109 and the $8r on stars. Went deep in the $8r and bubbled for a top 10 stack with KK vs. AQ all in preflop only to be out in 180 something place or so. It was just a day filled with folding my junk ass cards and not even remotely having any chances to do something positive with my chips. Oh and i ran across RusoStreet in the $8r and i do have to say his attitude has 100% completely changed from when he was running $4.40s. He has a pretty huge amount of scores from bodog and has become cocky & arrogant in my opinion. Just shows what money can do to you.

Building a roll on FPP's
| My new goal is to utse the 70 FPP sngs to the 100k on sundays to build up $ 100 worth of t$ once, i reach that goal i will use the $ 100 worth of t$ to play 4.40 180's and try to build a roll that way. Which will allow me to play 20 or so 4.40 180's , if i can get a top 3 in 2-3 of them it will start me on a good path. I've already won 3 seats using FPP, but used $ 11 in t$ to play a MTT. From now on i will be sticking with the plan, i hope to accomplish my goal by sunday. I will keep you up to date on how i've done. Right now i'm registered for the 100k and have 11 t$ i will stay registered for the 100k. Hopefully this is my journy on to a long way back, but its a start. |

Kzoo Trip Report
Ok so so this weekend i had to head to kzoo to clean out some shit out of my old apartment and pick up some of my old things. After waking up and fighting with my ex-girlfriend (which was an awesome start to my day i might add) , I got out there about 1:00 or so packed up my mom's van with all my stuff and headed to meet a friend at a local bowling alley for a $1/$2NL game. Now come to find out this place has a blanket permit for charity gaming. They can only sell $15K in chips in one night and max bet is $100.
We only had about 2 hours to play until the tourney that was going on at another place. Was up about $120 or so after about an hour and this hand came up.
I held J10 offsuit in the small blind and this old guy raised in the cutoff...he raised prolly 80% of his hands and was absolutely terrible just waiting to catch him. So flop comes K Q 3. I check it to him and he bets his $15 weak ass continuation bet...so i float it hoping to hit or take it away. Turn is a K...i check, he fires $20 and i make it $50 and he thinks for 2 seconds and calls. River is 3rd K. So now i basically put him on the Q and i cant really represent quads as this is the type of person who isnt folding K's full here for any amount of money. So i check and he bets $50 and i throw it away and he tables Q 6 offsuit. Nice hand buddy.
I limp a lot of pots and dont see anything for about the next hour. We announce were leaving in 15 min. and this final hand comes into play. Folds around...old guy raises it up to $10 from the cutoff and i call with 49 suited just waiting to hit a flop so i can double. We are heads up and flop comes 4 5 8 with 2 clubs. Check it to him and he bets his $15 so i call to let him bet his garbage the whole way down. Turn comes 5. I check to him again and he fires $40. Now heres where i had a brainfart. I should of repopped him all in as i only had $146 left...remember max bet is $100. This guy has never fired $40 at any pot the entire 2 hours ive been sitting here. I make the call still thinking im ahead but still a little cautious he paired one of his junk cards. River brings 9. Flush draw misses and now i have 9's & 5's. I check to him and he fires $100 but his hands are shaking. I took a little bit of time here though and replayed the hand. Now even if he paired his junk card my 9 hit and im ahead of anything besides the 5 he could of hit. Besides an overpair to 9's which i do NOT think he'd be firing this amount with on that river. So i push my $106 in and he tables AK off. I show my 94 and the table goes nuts about how good of a call it was. When in all actuality i play back my hand and it was a pretty easy call IMO. So we head to cashier and i cash out +$275 or so.
We head over to where the tourney was going and there were 16 players who showed up. Im not up for playing a $100 sng live by any means so we vote it's cash game or im leaving. Majority votes cash game and we sit down for round 2 for the day.
Everyone buys in for $200 or so...and i stake a friend in the game as well with a 50/50 after stake back agreement so he can play. This guy is one hell of a cash game player and im happy to have my money on him lol. This game is a $1/$2 NL (at all times) round by round with pineapple, hold em and omaha hi/lo.
I start off to a good start with a few big omaha hands and am up about $300 after an hour or so. My stakee ends up busting for his $200 and i float him another $100 and that's the last i was giving him. He gets down to $43 or so and then goes on one hellatious run and gets back up to $400 or so. When an omaha hand hits when another guy shoves $300 all in on an AK4 board with 2 spades into his AA Q8 with a spade draw. So he has top set with the nut flush draw (i folded K of spades) he calls to be up against KK for middle set and no low for drawing to one out and it holds. We ended up switching to a strictly omaha hi/lo game cause all the other pots were pretty boring. I ended up having to fold a few big hands with top set on the flop to a suited connected flop. Made a few calls but pretty much played 100% perfect. At about midnight i call it a night and the game pretty much breaks since i had a 2 hour drive back to detroit ahead of me. I cash in for about $600 or a little short of and my stakee cashes in pays me back everything i loaned him and we split profit for $275 a piece. NICE!!!!!!!
So overall it was about a +$1300 or so weekend in poker. MUCH needed weekend i miss it just running game to game and playing perfect and scooping up some nice cash and just having a fucking blast without any worries.
Oh so after all that im driving home cautiously as there are a million deer runnin around on the side of the road and me being exhausted, im about 10 min. from home and I pass a car going the opposite way on a 2 lane road when i hear a loud ass BOOM and the windshield shatters. Now i pull over to check out what could of possibly happened and the only thing i can even remotely deduct was that someone in that car threw something large and heavy directly at the windshield of my mom's van. It broke through the first layer of glass and into the second layer. BALLS on stupid fucking kids prolly. So i wake up and head over my mom's to explain the story and fork out $200 or so to cover the deductible on the windshield. Still not quite sure why i cant have one amazing weekend without something going wrong.
Oh and mine & pimp's cake account sucks ass now and is running colder than any account ive ever had so hopefully that will change sometime soon. Still running the neverbeg stake but not doing so hot now just floating around the original stake of $25 now after having a few cold runs and some non-cashes in mtt's & 4.40s. But still alive.

Greektown Trip Report
Ok all just got back from a 4 hour greektown trip here. 4 hours later and 6 heart attacks later this was by far the most disgusting table i have ever sat at in my life.
First off i sat down and half my table was absolutely shitfaced with one indian kid that was just TERRIBLE at poker. For the first 5 hands i sat out i watched him push all in with A 6 suited...A 9 offsuit...and floppin open ended draw. So off the bat i have no respect for any of his raises. After about 2 hours he was in for $700 or so.
First hand in question...
4 limps and the button makes it $17. (I was down to $50 after i called a $40 all in with J10 suited after 4 people made the call. I flopped open ended but couldnt connect against 55). Anyways so the button, who has raised 4 pots in a row and shown down J 6 off & K 5 off, has about $300 in front of him so i just push for my last $50 and he makes the call like i thought he would and shows 55. Dodge the flop but he bones his 5 on the river....REBUY!!!!!!!!!
Buy back in for $100 as this is the max buy-in at this table. Get back down to $40 after 99 doesnt hold against AK all in pre for a $100+ pot...when the next hand comes into play.
I get aces in the BB when the tightest guy at the table makes it $15 to go in the cutoff and i just push my last $40 in with rockets and hope they hold. He shows KK. HONESTLY i stood up and grabbed my hoody to pack my shit cause i knew what was coming. Flop sure enough K high and i nonchalantly say good playing guys cause it was surely expected to hit. Turn blanks and river my 2 outer ace and scoop it. JUSTICE i love it.
So after a few hands im back down to $70 or so and this comes up...
I get 55 UTG so i limp. A few others limp and loose ass from 1st hand makes it $15 from the button. The big blind calls (he has about $500 in front of him) so i call to see if i cant flop a set and triple up. Flop comes A J 5...BINGO. Checks around...wtf great im not getting anything out of this. Turn comes 9...BB bets out $25 and i push in my last $55 when the button makes it $150 to isolate and the BB folds. Button shows AJ and thought he trapped lol thanks buddy and im back up to $170 or so.
Ok here is the key hand to the entire night...
I get AK off in mp with two limpers in front of me i make it $17 to go. Loose guy from previous hand above calls and UTG limper makes it $47 total. Hmmmmm a limp reraise. I narrow down to POSSIBLY a big pair but he's not that good so i flat call not wanting to risk it on just a coin flip just yet. I elect to flat call and re-evaluate after the flop. Button calls too. Flop comes A high with 2 spades. Button boy leads out $75 and original limp raiser clown thinks about it for 10 seconds or so and flat calls...now i KNOW im 100% ahead here. I insta shove for $50 more. Loose boy insta mucks his hand and UTG guy regretfully throws in the $50 and flips QJ spades..WTF? So now i need to doge a spade. Wouldnt you know it turns his fucking flush and i about flip the fucking table over. Monkey jumps up and screams SHIP IT!!! But wait i have a redraw...BAM fucking 10 of spades on the river and i quietly sit back down and scoop the $350+ pot without saying a word...because im better than that.
I go smoke and tell pimp the good news of me actually WINNING at greektown and not getting bad beated to hell. I sit back down flop a set with 33 and get paid off a little bit and am up to a $450 or so stack.
Next hand in question i pick up 10s UTG and make it $15 to go. 2 callers and short stack guy shoves for $50...1 players shoves for $45 and another guy FLAT CALLS (just sat down with $100 stack and first hand he's played so no reads) and now i have a big decision to make. My first instinct is to isolate and get it all in so we can see all 5 cards...which prolly was the right decision BUT i elected to call the $50 and see what the flop brings and maybe save myself $50 if overcards hit. Flop comes 444 and homeboy shoves for his last $50 and i IMMEDIATELY know im beat but the pot is already about $300 so getting 6:1 on my money i regretfully push in the $50 to see him with AA and drawing to 2 outs...BLA i hate pot odds. Turn is K river BAM 10. My first suckout in the past 4 months of going to greektown and might i say it feels FUCKING GREAT. I bought the guy a drink and apologized cause i hate that shit when it happens to me.
Last hand in question was me being a fucktard and straddled for $4. Tighter guy makes it $14 and it folds to me. I look down at AJ suited and elect to call and see where it goes. Flop A K 3. He leads $30 at it and i call to re-evaluate on the turn. Turn was blank...he bets $50 and this is where i had a brainfart. 100% beat that bet should tell me but im stupid and elected to call because i thought he might be pulling a move on me when he wasnt capable of doing so lol. River blanks and we both check and he shows AQ. I got up and left 2 hands later after that hand as i was gettin tired and shit.
So all in all my luck definitely changed tonight not good enough to hit the $80K bad beat jackpot but good enough to take $375 or so profit out of there. DEFINITELY feels good to book a live winning session with the way shit has been going lately for me. Anyways off to bed now as i have to get some sleep so i can be ready to take down the KZOO tourney tomorrow night. I should have a full tourney report on that sometime sunday or monday.
