Week start

Well monday i was at work and decided to play some 500 fpp sattelites to the sunday million. Donked outta the first one with a set vs. flush draw. 2nd one i ran pretty well in and played damn near close to perfect especially around bubble time. So i ended up unregistering for the mil and taking the $215 in tourney dollars instead and try to build up a bankroll on stars again. I had a plan to play the $109 3K starting chips that night and if i didnt cash then i was done and was sticking to $4.40 180 mans.

So Monday night tourney started off pretty well and i had a top 5 stack for most of the first 2 hours after doubling up the 3rd hand with AA vs. KQ on Q high flop. Ran really really well except for one mistep i took right after the bubble burst. Q 10 in SB with 2 limpers. Flop came Q high and i check raised the button all in and he slow played his aces to a winner. I was stuck with 6K with blinds at 2K/4K and not looking so hot. I doubled up once then again and then once again and all of a sudden i was looking pretty damn well to final table this thing. First place was ~$9K or so and i told jason i was flying to vegas the next day if i won it. Well final table hit and i was pretty much card dead picking up the blinds whenever i could. I waited for my spot until i got jacks in the BB after an UTG raise. I had no choice but to stick it in and hope it held. Well i was up against 88 for a 3rd place stack if it holds...but flop comes out 8 high and im sent to the rail with a $1288 7th place finish. I was not very happy with the result of that hand as i felt that the rest of the players were VERY VERY weak and just overly aggressive at all times which could of been easily exploited with a decent stack in front of me. But nothing ya can do.

Last night i decided to run the $20r & the $30 freezeout. The $20r ran VERY well for the first hour and i was sitting with 18K or so at first break. Well next 2 hours ran absolutely TERRIBLE for me card wise and i couldnt pick up a hand even remotely close to playing for hte life of me. Slightly into the 3rd hour i was gettin pretty short and in shove/fold mode but i still had a bit of fold equity in my stack to a normal raise. Well i pick up 99 after a 2nd position minraise (this guy was absolutely terrible and very very weak misplaying about every hand but he had a decent stack.). So i figured he was raising garbage suited cards like usual and shove. He insta calls with J8 of clubs for 30% of his stack. Now this is just a call i cant even begin to describe what he was thinking in his mind when calling this. Anyways he flops a flooosh with J8 and im sent to the rail 20 players from the bubble.

The $30 started out the exact same way where i tripled up the second hand of the tourney and ran it up to top 10 very quickly and stayed there for most of the tourney. I did misplay AK really badly late in the tourney and gave away about 50% of my stack. I worked back up to avg. stack again and then pot committed myself preflop with AK and ran into aces to get knocked out in 66th again 20 or so away from the bubble.

This morning i ran terrible in the $109 and the $8r on stars. Went deep in the $8r and bubbled for a top 10 stack with KK vs. AQ all in preflop only to be out in 180 something place or so. It was just a day filled with folding my junk ass cards and not even remotely having any chances to do something positive with my chips. Oh and i ran across RusoStreet in the $8r and i do have to say his attitude has 100% completely changed from when he was running $4.40s. He has a pretty huge amount of scores from bodog and has become cocky & arrogant in my opinion. Just shows what money can do to you.
